Zurich Improv Festival goes Nosferatu in the 1920s! Coffins meet cocktails, fangs meet flapper dresses, jazz meets the shadows.… and laughter is rising from the crypt. This year’s Zurich Improv Festival embraces Nosferatu, the 20's as its theme: eerie, gothic, and gloriously ridiculous.
Expect silent-movie moods, sharp fangs, and stories born in the dark and made up on the spot. Nothing is scripted, everything is alive — or at least… undead. Join us for a festival where horror meets humor and the night is full of surprises.
Improvizza : Festival in Malta
Improvizza! is an improvisation festival held on the island of Malta, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, usually in the month of September.
This festival is small and curated, with attention to detail that makes it a fun experience for all.
The festival is organised together with our primary collaborator, Spazju Kreattiv, which provides a wonderful venue for us to call home during the festival.
We want to create a space that welcomes everybody, while at the same time recognising and celebrating our differences, and that brings together improvisers from all over the world.

Every ensemble reaches a point where the question is no longer how do we start, but rather:
how do we keep going and getting better...
The Skills & Structures Sessions is a focused workshop for existing impro groups who want clear, experienced, outside-eyes and practical, personalised direction.
I spend time watching you play. I analyse how you’re doing and where the ensemble is on their journey or in their practice, how your scenes breathe, where energy drops, and where habits and unseen dynamics limit you. Then we work: precisely, with deliberate practice and a playful eye to the future.
We identify what already works, and strengthen it.
We locate weak spots and train the skills to support them:
-Listening and ensemble work
-Impulse and acceptance
-Editing and storytelling
-Acting and character work
As well are the use of forms and different structures for training, performance and more.
You and your ensemble leave with concrete homework and a shared plan for growth.
This is not a generic workshop.
It is tailored for you and your ensemble, your goals, and your current level.

Impro-Comedy inspiriert vom sogenannten echten Leben
Das Leben schreibt die besten Geschichten – und die absurdesten. In ihrem Showformat „Nichts als die Wahrheit“dienen den Improspieler*innen kurze Anekdoten als Inspiration für den Abend. Diese verwandeln sie innerhalb von Augenblicken in Szenen zum Kaputtlachen. Das Publikum darf sich auf schnelle Comedy, irre Storys und Momente der Rührung freuen.
Vorbild für das Format ist „Armando“, eine der weltweit erfolgreichsten Improshows, benannt nach dem US-Amerikaner und großartigen Improspieler Armando Diaz. Das Motto des Abends: It’s funny because it’s true.
🎭 Eine Veranstaltung im Rahmen der Improwoche im Theater am Neunerplatz. In Kooperation mit dem Theater am Neunerplatz und dem Würzburger Improtheaterfestival e.V.
Schwestern in der Überzahl : Die Nacht, die hat uns heimgesucht - Impro meets Poetry
An diesem besonderen Abend treffen zwei Disziplinen aufeinander: Der Poetry Slammer Felix Römer begibt sich in der ersten Hälfte des Abends in die Wohngemeinschaft der „Schwestern in der Überzahl“ und muss hier sein Improvisationstalent unter Beweis stellen. Die beiden ungleichen Schwestern Paula und Annika werden dem neuen Mitbewohner auf den Zahn fühlen und dafür sorgen, dass er sich trotz allem „In bester Gesellschaft“ fühlt.
In der zweiten Hälfte des Abends darf Felix Römer mit seinen Texten die Improvisationskünstlerinnen herausfordern. Ausgehend von der Poesie entspinnen sich spontane Welten und Geschichten, bei denen auch das Publikum eine nicht unwichtige Rolle spielen wird.
